California Adventure!

We finally got our IDs yesterday! We were so excited that we wanted to go into one of the parks. We decided to go into Disney California Adventure. The first ride we went on was the Tower of Terror. I was so excited to get on it. I didn't remember how much adrenaline you get from that ride. Then we went over to Toy Story Mania. I had never been on it before so I didn't know what it would be like. My roommate, India, sat next to me and she said she had been on it before and was going to beat me. Well......I was the one who beat her. My score was 131,500 and hers was around 116,000. I was so proud of myself for doing so well for my first time. Then we wanted to get on California Screamin'. I was so excited to go on it because it's my favorite attraction in California Adventure.     
Since we had our Traditions class yesterday, we don't have anything until Sunday. So today we are going to go into Disneyland and play for the day. I'm really excited for that.

Since I'm here, I will tell you what Disney has coming up. They are building a new land in California Adventure called Cars Land. That will be finished in 2012. Another thing for California Adventure is a Little Mermaid attraction that will be done in April or May of this year. Since I'm a cast member I get to have a preview of The Little Mermaid attraction when it is done. They are also changing the front gate entrance to California Adventure. They are getting rid of the California sign and the Golden Gate bridge to put in the new entrance gate.

The Adventure Begins

Well on Sunday I got checked in at Carnegie Plaza where my apartment is at. I was really nervous at first but I got over it after a while. My apartment has 5 girls; 3 from Arizona, 1 from California and me. Today we had orientation and took our photos for our IDs. That means that we can go to Disneyland tomorrow! I'm so excited for that! Also tomorrow we have Traditions which is the same thing as learning about Disney. We have to be there at 7:30. I am not excited to wake up early. That will last for like 8 hours but the good thing is that we get paid and also get a tour of the parks.
After we had our orientation me and 2 of my roommates didn't want to stay in our apartment because we didn't know what to do. So we decided to go on the bus and find the nearest mall. We got the directions to  the Block mall. Then we got done with that pretty early and wanted to do something else. So we decided to take the bus all the way down to Newport Beach. It was perfect timing because we got there at sunset and the view was amazing. The water was really cold but I had never been there so it was really beautiful. Now I am just going to get ready for our big day tomorrow. :)

California in 20 days!!

Well I will be leaving for California probably on the 21st. I'm not sure. I have been getting so excited! I have gotten a couple of things together like some pictures and stuff I need when I'm down there. Before I go, I have to get my wisdom teeth out. Ugh! Not looking forward to that. I get that done on Friday and then I can start to really pack for California. One of the good things about the apartment I'm going to be in is that it is fully furnished. All I have to bring is my own towels and sheets. I'm really glad that we will have a washer and dryer too. About a month ago I found out 2 of my roommates. They are both from Mesa, Arizona and they are my age. Tiffany is going to be a busser in a restaurant and Jordan is going to be a janitor just like me!


I will try to keep up with my blog when I'm down there. I want to tell you everything that goes on!
